Be kind to yourself. Remember you are in it for the long haul, not the short-term quick fix. A mini eclair does not a life-time pattern make! Moon and I have discussed the very frustrating senario of the scale moving up and down for no apparent or logical reason...it is the down-ward trend that matters and makes for the long-term, permanent, big changes. I have even found that sometimes the scale does not reflect the progress at times when clothes fitting do! In Phillip Goglia's book, he says a better goal is to "take up less room in the room" and to gain muscle and lean tissue while reducing body fat. Of course muscle weighs more than fat. I have to remind myself of this when the scale is being ornery and yet my clothes are fitting looser, wearing smaller sizes, etc. Sounds like you are doing great. Huge congrats to you and may this year ahead be one of new victories on all fronts!

hugs,
Dreemy
