I would never stop posting! I am thinking that these ups and downs are just like life...IT IS LIFE! So this is my chance to step back, focus and then charge ahead again. I've spent many years working various mechanical type jobs in factories. I know that all machines have to have a "downtime" for preventative maintenance. So this is just our downtime Dreemy. Once we get all the bugs worked out, all the fluid levels filled, all the drill bits sharpened, we'll be able to make progress again. Axes need sharpening in order to cut down the tree, a needle must be sharp to pierce the fabric, all nuts and bolts must be tightened every so often or things will literally fall apart! So...this is where I'm at. I'm going to sharpen and tighten and otherwise use this downtime to get this "machine" of mine ready to forge ahead again.

I may wait till after all the festivities to really get rolling again...I may start again next week. I'm not going to get caught up in worrying about and you shouldn't either. You've lost what now...35 pounds??? You've done so well Dreemy! And I know you are already reaping the rewards of having lost that weight aren't you. Yes, you are! So quit beating yourself up. You're making a life style change this is going to affect the REST OF YOUR LIFE! There's no time limit to losing weight! Stopping and taking a break doesn't mean you have to lose ground. At some point you're going to reach your goal weight and what then??? You have to learn to maintain it then anyway right?? So why not "practice" now. See if you can maintain this weight you're currently at for 4 weeks. You can only go over or under by 2 pounds at the end of the fourth week. That's what it's all about isn't it? MAINTAINING a healthy, active lifestyle? And also really consider your goal weight. Is it really appropriate for age, height, etc.? I never agreed with what the Weight watcher book said I should be and told them I was not going to reach that goal. Don't make yourself try to reach a weight that would be unhealthy for you.

I'm still here for you, you know that. I'm just going to do my downtime for a wee bit, refocus and then start again. **with swartzenagger accent** I'll be back!!
