I truly truly relate and have defintitely been right where u are. I am not opposed to medications...they have their place and can be very useful. Do avoid the traditional antidepressants such as prozac and zoloft which have sexual side effects (yeah that is just what someone needs! ahh...talk about something to be depressed about!!) I have heard that both Welbutrin and Serzone do not have this sort of side effect. As for a natural remedy I use both L-Tyrosine and St. John's wort capsules. Sometimes I need them more than other times. Getting a physical is always a good idea...however I have also had the experience of Docs being incredibly clueless and either wanting to put everyone on meds or else tell me it was all in my head. Not all docs are created equal as we all know. If the one you see doesn't help try another. Listen to your gut.

I do know that no matter what...some fundamental things are true, such as the white flour and white sugar triggering obscene levels of insulin production which is the fat storing hormone as well as setting me up for cravings that are out of control. I do infinitely better when I avoid them completely. Since I don't always suceed in avoiding them completely I try hard to substitute as much as I can with the healthy stuff and limit the no-no's.

So sorry about your excercise partner. I am doing a lot of walking on my own the past couple of weeks and still doing the dancercize with my cat. It is hard to get to it every single time. Once I am out there or the music is on however I can get through it fine. It is just getting going that is always tough for me.

i think I am in need of more spiritual pow right now to this whole thing. I am designing a spell and will be posting some things of that nature on here shortly.

huge hug to you,
Dreemy
