The elf girl smiled, pleased at the boys question. "Truthfully there are very few of my race. Mostly our kind prefer it that way. You see, some how it got rumored that an elves wings held magical properties. And so we became hunted."

She shrugged slightly, a move that looked odd as she flew next to him. "I think my flock and one other are the last two." She seemed to think for a moment and then shook her head. "In total I'd have to say there are less than a hundred elves with wings. But that is sort of ok too since we live a very very long time. It is the elf in us. I am a young elf. Barly even grown. And I can already count a fifty or so years."

She suddenly looked sheepish and shy as she shot him a look. "I am sorry. I do tend to go on and on at times. I find new people and things interesting. That is how I met Wes. So tell me... How bad are things going for the Cheysuli these days? I hear that your own numbers are falling as the years pass. Ohh... My dad use to tell the most wonderful stories about the Cheysuli. So proud and feirce and loyal. I think it is really cool that you have an eagle! Perhaps we three could go flying one day. I could show you some of the best places to perch and watch the world."

She rolled her eyes again. "I am doing it again. I tell you sometimes I never shut up." She winged easily next to him. "Will you tell me what you know of the CHeysuli? Please? I promise to keep it to myself if you want." She smiled faintly. "Or at least I'll try. As you can tell... I talk alot."
