 Alexis stuck out her cute little tongue as Angie went by and then turned to grin at Jeff. "Just ignore her Jeff. We don't have to move on until you're ready."

She calmly stroked Gwen as she watched Angie stomping away. ::I am going no where until he is ready. And stop bossing people around Angie, IT IS NOT NICE!!:: She peeked at Jeff and offered anouther smile. "Come on back to the camp Jeff. I will light a fire and get some food into you."

She gently lifted Jeff to his feet and led him back to the camp sight. She gently pressed him down to the ground and wrapped a blanket around his shoulders. As she moved to start a fire she shook her head. Angie might not know what it ment to care for someone and want what was best for them, but Alexis sure did. And she was through letting that little imp boss her around.

Kira ruffled her wings lightly in the breeze and then took flight. The white haired girl was intent on making the boy comfortable and that seemed good and fitting to her. Plus, she thought, I am curious as to where Angie is getting off to. So she glided along after Angie. A tiny smile on her mouth.

"You realize that they are not following you? Alexis has decided that the boy and his lirs health are to far taxed. She is making food if you are hungry." Kira landed directly in front of Angie and gave her a push backwards. "Stop being like this. You are no longer alone. And therefore, you no longer need to set yourself apart."

The elf stood staring at Angie for a moment before offering a smile. "But then again... Who cares, right? We don't need them. We don't need anyone!"

Nobel curled up near the newly lit fire and watched Alexis gently tend to Jeff. Jeff and the hidden Silent Paw appeared to be napping in the warm glow of the fire. The scene in the tiny camp was warm and Nobel could sense the girls devotion to her friends, which to Nobels surprise still included Angie.

In the shadows Monet sighed, ::Alexis sees Angie as a frightened little girl. And she wants to help her. Plus,:: Monet purred softly. ::Alex has always wanted a sister. Even a spoiled brat of a sister.::
