He nodded as he sent the words. ::I can! I'm a mean wolf.:: He growled to show her just how mean he was. Then hi little face turned sad. ::But I jus' a lil wolf. Not big 'nuff ta help.::

He looked up to Kalea and touched her ear. A sound of pure delight went through him as her ear twitched away from him. ::I wanna do 'at!:: Then he tried to wiggle his ears.

The wolf pup howled loudly as her laughter filled the link. ::Humans can't wiggle their ears!! Can they Kalea? Only Jellicles and Wolves can wiggle their ears!! Am I right?::

Dante frowned and tried again. He tried so hard that for a minute his eyes went cross making Khanada laugh all the harder. ::Shu'up Nada...::

Rio sent back news to Gabriel that it appeared their quarry was indeed going to attempt the mountains. Slowly he turned to face his band only to find his two brothers deeply engaged in serious talks or some sort of fun with their new Jellicle friends.

A soft smile crossed his face. This would be a good trip. His brothers needed this. They needed to be near to others. He only hoped they would not see anyone else they grew to know and love hurt by ignorance.

"Michael," he called softly. "Hand your pack to Nashota. I have a job for you and Evan."

Nashota quickly took to heavy pack from the scowling boy and shouldered it as best she could. She watched as Gabriel patted Michael's head in a show of brief affection. "I want you and Evan to fly quickly to the Cheysuli clan of this area. Ask them for two horses and many blankets. Enough for the small party ahead of us. Then ride back as quick as you can."

He winked to Nashota and then looked seriously down to the smaller warrior. "I am counting on you to make it back before night fall. Can you do this for me?"
