 Gabriel reined the horse in as he reached the outer edge of a tiny well hidden camp. He reached around behind him and roughly grabbed the young girl and lowered her by an arm to the ground. Then he gathered the boy into his strong arms and hopped down. His yellow eyes narrowed slightly as he thought about what he needed to do next. He did not want to tie the boy up, but he was fearful that he would try to run again.

Yellow eyes turned to look at Alexis. "What would you do if you were me?"

Alexis shifted from one foot to the other. Her own crystal gaze was nervous and sad. "Don't tie him up again. We both know it was unnessisary the first time. He is very far from home and has no idea how to get back."

Gabriel nodded once and moved to lay the boy down in his tent. With the gentle touch of a father he tended to any unintended injuries and then tucked a blanket around the lanky body.

"Keep and eye on him girl I need to start a fire and get us some food."

Alexis nodded and went to sit by Jeff. She was scared and cold, but she knew that what Gabriel did was right. And so she said nothing.

Rio trotted to Gabriel and sighed a deep, loud sigh. ::What shall we do with our young shaddow?::

Gabriel smiled as he remember the one who had been following them. ::Invite her to dinner.::

Rio laughed and turned to look at the girl hiding in the shaddows. ::Come out child. We have penlty of room for you and the night grows cold. My lir is going to cook. I promise it will be a good meal.::
