 Nashota stood frozen in time as she watched the creature. Her cobalt eyes were wide with fear yet she remained still and alert. If the creature had come but one more step closer to herself or Kaleadora it would get a taste of Jellicle magic.

Then, as if sensing Nash's threat, the creature bound off. And Nashota was left with Kalea's question... What was that?
