Subject: You sho' did paint a mighty perty Sprangtime picture thar', Sams...
In reply to: Sammy (ready to smell the flowers) 's message, "Well, that's about the last of it for this year, no more snow. It's time for SPRING!" on 17:56:41 03/19/04 Fri

When I think of Spring, mud doesn't really come into the picture (one of the perks of bein' city folk, I reckon).

This winter has seemed so brutal to me. Maybe it's because of what happened during the winter that made it especially difficult. Back in December, my dear mother flipped down our hallway stairs while reaching (see: jumping) over to place a Holiday decoration in the corner of a shelf that runs along the wall(Tom and Summ, you know which steps and shelf I mean) Well, she wound up breaking her femur clean in half in addition to shattering her knee. It was horrible. Thanks to God and a wonderful orthopedic surgeon, she is miraculously walking around without a walker (the thing was banned a week after she came home). Sophie now has screws in her knee and a titanium rod holding her femur together.

Bring on the happy tulips!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!
