I thought I was the only one who thought he could fly. I hope Sophie is doing well now. It amazing how when you are falling from a high place like that everything seems to go in slow motion. Of course when I do it there's a loud thump and then everything goes black for a little while towards the end.

Make sure she does her therepy exercises regularly, it may hurt but it's soooooo important. I'm sure everything will heal nicely and she'll be good as new. But it's your responsibility to be a nag and make sure she does them. I'm busy now torturing my Mom who just had a heart attack a month ago and had two stints installed in her arteries. I have been making her walk a little bit every day slowly increasing the distance. She bitches at me something terrible but secretly appreciates how I care for her so. I know she looks forward to me prodding her into the walks just so she can complain. It's a little game we play.

Yes we suffer terribly from mud in the spring. When I walk across the backyard it looks as if Herman Munster waltzed through. I punch these huge holes that seem to endure there until mid-summer when I fill them in after repeatedly tripping on them and twisting my ankles. The mud is like glue too, I swear it's worse than dog crap the way it sticks to your boots.

The tulips survived the snow and are once again climbing skyward. Soo the forsythia will be a vibrant yellow indicating spring has arrived. Then lilacs won't be too far behind (my personal favorite!).
