He was pissed that because the family poo-poo'd the brains ala'mode (or whatever) he was denied the pleasure of preparing truely Edwardian fare. (Which was the reason he participated in the first place.)

It was and interesting show and I enjoyed it. PBS did the same thing with a prarie home a while back also.
