Well it looks like I'm back boys and girls to give you the low down on everything Pheonix E.

Seasons Beatings

After a long break Pheonix Enterprises is ringing in the holiday season with Seasons Beatings a joint event of The Pheonix Promotion and The MWI. We're all very excited about this event. It'll be hectic but exciting to see one locker room once again. And It Promises to be one helluva event.

Where do we go from here

Well Pheonix keeps the feds seperate much to the surprise (and dismay) of many working in The Pheonix E. office. Pheonix realizes it took a long time to build THe Pheonxi Promotion and it will take a long time to build the MWI. Pheonix wants everyone to understand that this is a long term plan to create the two number one wrestling organizations in the World.

The Pheonix Promotion

The Pheonix Promotion seemed to be on the right track before the break, so I would expect to see more of the same creatviely. The Phenom/Ensign rivalry was the top winner int he quarter hour breakdown and the Nobody/Nightmare rivalry wasn't close behind. What we will see is a more solid effort to concentrate on Icon's International Title reign and strengthening The Tag Team Division.

What I'd like to see is more of a use of Showtime and Vic Vegas which we seem to be seeing by their slots on the Seasons Beatings card. If they seem believable to the crowd then you may see them in The International Exalibur World Title or World Heavyweight Title pictures. Showtime would make an excellent edition to The World Ittle picture as he compliments Phenom and Ensign well creating a World TItle division based on athleticism and speed something that Phenom and Ensign are very good at. Vic adds well to the World Heavyweight Divison adding to Nightmare and Nobody with his technical and Raw Power, he works very well as a giant in the International Title Picture.

Expect the Phenom/Ensign rivalry to get more physical in the coming weeks as Phenom is getting over a lot of the wear and tear that made him request to Pheonix to play the rivalry out like he had been. And if anyone knows anything about Pheonix E Politics you know that Phenom gets a lot of input as far as his creative direction goes, and deservedly so, he's been here a long time and has alot to do with the company's success. Phenom will probably make an in-ring return at Disturbance to wrestle Ensign Pheonix for The Excalibur World Heavyweight Title. Expect this rivalry to get REALLY interesting in the coming months.

There is also a buzz about some shifts in the roster that some MWI talent will come over to The Pheonix Promotion. Will we see an influx of Hollywood talent in The Pheonix Promotion in the coming weeks? That remains to be seen.

Maniac Wrestling International

The MWI has received an almost complete shake up. Pheonix is really trying to put things in place to draw an immediate audience while he is building this brand. The big shocker was the re-signing of Dan Sykes to the creative team which I'll touch on a bit later in my column.

There were no real rivalries, a lot of injuries, and even more people stepping down or dropping out. It seems as just as the MWI looked like it was about to break something came along to cripple it. The MWI has tof ind a sense of stabiltiy if it is going to thrive.

Paul Maxx is definitely the key to The MWI's surivial and success. He is the man that will become Phenom in the MWI, he's got enough charisma, stamina and in-ring skill. He proved himself at Autumn Annhiliation and Pheonix will defiently put a lot of weight on him in the coming months as new stars develop.

Glacier is definetly another key to the MWI's sucess and survival. He's a big athletic guy and is able to play heel or face. Eventually Glacier and Paul Maxx will be what the MWI is all about and they'll be amin eventing MWI Pay Per Views for years to come.

With The MWA closing down, which I'll also touch on a bit later in the column, the MWI has had a mass surge of talent coming in from the recently defunct organization. Pheonix knows they're top notch guys and with the exception of Venom they're all going to The MWI and we're all excited.

Big Stories

The two biggest stories in Pheonix E this week is the closing of the MWA, the rehiring of Dan Sykes to work creative for the MWI, and the possible returning to the ring full time of Pheonix Masters.

The MWA

The Midwest Wrestling Alliance was a great fed that has produced many of Pheonix Enterprises current stars. Nightmare, The Current Pheonix Promotion World Heavyweight Champion is a product of the MWA. Paul Maxx, The current MWI World Heavyweight Champion is also a product of the MWA. The Icon, Mr. Showtime Max Fox, Eminent Domain, Jetpack, Shawn Hunter, and many others have come up to Pheonix E and had great success. But the great thing that comes out of this unfortunate closing of the MWA is the Pheonix E signing of many of its stars, most of them going to the MWI, and if you look at the roster a large percentage of them have been in the MWA at one point or another.

Venom is defiently the most promising star coming out. He's in The Pheonix Promotion and I expect him to make waves sooner rather than later. He's world title material and there are so many things that can be done with him. I'm very excited to see the rise of this new young star.

Dan Sykes

Guess who's back...

Dan Sykes is back in Pheonix Enterprises this time working creative for The MWI.

Dan Sykes worked creative for The Pheonix Promotion shortly after it opened. He can be credited for breaking guys like PhantomLord and the Extreme Stallions, the short lived Six Man Tag Team Title Division and being on the ground floor of the Puppet Masters storyline. He was a massive on-air talent that always drew a solid rating, second only to The Pheonix Masters character.

We'll see if this time around is the charm for Prez Sykes.

Pheonix Masters

Pheonix Masters is in the best shape of his life and has been doing a lot of in ring workouts at Pheonix Towers. He looks great. He's been offered a deal by the XWF and sources close to Pheonix say he will probably take it. I'm sure it will be limited to TV and PPVs. The prospect of Pheonix hitting the road with the XWF is unlikely. He also may contact Will Dorris about a Jaunt in UCW. Pheonix says that if he did return to the ring full time it would be with Pheonix E because such a thing would not be fair.

That's all for now Folks I'll be back later on with a Story on the return of Dan Sykes
