Subject: Yes, I can't disagree with you there. I'm a little nervous about taking Pre-Algebra next year. *gnaws fingernails* But I had a bunch of friends who took it this year so that helps.

Yeah, I agree. I have been known to do crazy things. Not necissarily (I KNOW I spelled that wrong) stupid, but crazy. :D I really don't care what my sister thinks anyway. I'm not the one who records songs about a white Christmas on my computer and saves them for anyone to listen. (Yes, last Christmas she wailed out in her own wonderful *why do I feel a cough coming on?* voice into my mic about how she wished we would have lots of snow on Christmas. Now I have an urge to crank it up whenever she's ticking me off. You should hear it.)

I'm glad you had a good Fourth! Mine was lots of fun too. Luckily, it turned out to be sunny and warm that whole day, no rain or storms whatsoever! (Except for early that morning, but it stopped by 7:00, and later on, in the middle of the night, but I slept through it all as I usually do.) Here's how *my* day went. I woke up at about 8, much earlier than usual. Like you, I usually never wake up till at least 9. I got up and got on my puter to check up on this forum and fanfiction.net. Then I got ready, showered and dressed and everything, ate a little something for breakfast and watched "The Real World" until about 10:00. The annual 4th of July parade was starting at 10:30, and my sister was in it for her dance class, so by then she had already gotten into her costume and went over to our neighbor's house, whose daughter was also in it for the same class and her son was riding his bike in it so she was going to take them to where it started. Anyway, we left for the parade at about 10:15 because my little sister kept tugging my arm and wanting to me to take her there, so we walked down to the end of the street where we usually watch it from. We waited for like 25 minutes (10:30 was when it started in another part of town so it took a little while to get there) and then it came by, it was pretty cool, my sister got a bunch of candy and all that good stuff. Then when it was over we went back home and my sister who was in the parade changed out of her costume and she, my other sister, mom, and I went to Wal-Mart to get some red, white and blue nail polish for my sister and I and some other stuff, like pop and chips and stuff. Then we went back home and had lunch, and I painted my fingers and toes red, white and blue (each thumbnail I painted like a flag, they actually looked pretty good considering I've never tried that before), and then two of my friends came over and hung out for like an hour before we had to leave for my aunt, uncle and cousin's house. When we got there, my cousin (who's 12 but actually fun to hang out with) was with her friend, and my aunt said she should be coming home like within the next 20 mins. or a half hour, so to pass that time we decided to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some more home firework type stuff. We got a big package with some fun stuff in it, and once we got back my cousin came home like 5 mins. later, very happy to be there and be with us cuz her friend was starting to annoy her. We decided to get into her pool, so we changed into our bathing suits (which my sisters and I all brought along) and we all got in. It's a nice pool, just an above ground one, not like a permanent one though, but it's pretty big and about 3 feet deep so it's fun. Anyway, we swam in there for about 45 minutes and then we got out and had some food and just hung out, doing all kinds of smoke bombs, popper thingies, sparklers, and the works. We swam some more, and then as it got darker I saw people walking down to the church/park area where the fireworks could be seen, and I was like "When are they gonna start? I don't wanna miss them!" My mom's like, "Chill out, people just want to get good spots, they aren't going to start for a little while." So at one point I was totally convinced we'd be okay and we'd make it, so I go inside into the bathroom to take my hair out of its french braids and brush it out and everything, when all of the sudden outside I hear a bunch of loud firework sounds that are much more real sounding than the ones we'd been hearing people setting off from their yards all evening, so I tear outside and keep asking people, "Are they starting? Are those the real ones?!" Then I spot my sister and cousin running down the street in the general direction of the place we usually watch them from, which is sort of far from her house on foot. But I take off after them and by the time we reach our street (about 2 blocks away, something like that) I can clearly see them, the real ones, exploding over the houses and trees and everything. I'm like OMG WE'RE GONNA MISS THEM!!!! So I'm running ahead of everybody. Then I see that my dad's following us and my sis and cousin have stopped on our street to wait for him, but I'm panicking, convinced we're going to have to watch the fireworks show from my neighbor's driveway (not exactly the best view). We have brief thoughts about watching them from our roof, but my dad says that won't work so I take off again, to the end of the street, taking a left and running straight until I come to a good spot, but then I spot an even better one across the street in the church lawn, so I run over there. Finally everyone catches up to me and we get to watch the show for about 30 more minutes. At one point there was this HUGE one, it was so awesome. Then afterwards we walked back to my cousin's and got in her pool again. My older cousin, Julie (who's like 30) was getting a little tipsy and saying she was going to go skinnydipping, so we're all like, "Not while we're in here!" Then of course we ended up spending the night. All in all, it was a great Fourth of July. =D May sound a little hectic, but actually I really enjoyed it. That's cool about how they still did the fireworks where you were during the storm. That would have been something to see. Once again I'm glad you had a good time. =D (Btw, this once again shows how pathetic I am, during the fireworks I couldn't help thinking...okay, so I could help it, but I didn't try to stop it...about Jamie and Landon snuggling up during the fireworks in Beaufort like they did in my story. hehe. I mean c'mon...that would be soooo adorable and romantic. =)

WOW!!!! Your fourth of july sounds like fun, yes, hectic, but nothing wrong with that! LOL! I enjoyed mine a ton also - 4th of July is my second fav holiday, only second to Christmas. BTW about your nail polish - I have done that before! Kind of anyways. Last year, I did my fingernails and my toenails... I alternated between red and blue paint on each toe/finger and then did lil white dots on them because I was too afraid to try a flag. They were really cute and everyone at my mom's friend's house loved them.

BTW, I have a Jamie and Landon fireworks thing too - I think it's romantic, them snuggling up to watch fireworks. I think they did in my story too - LOL! (I have not read my story in a long time, can you tell? I forget what is in it! I guess that comes from having fifteen stories in progress.) Anyways, glad you had a nice 4th! See ya later
Katie
