Hey thats cool about your neighborhood, sounds like fun to me, LOL! Since its saturday night, how did it go? Have fun? LOL.

Happy 50th then, ROTFL. Only been 22 for me. 23 on Monday. I can't stand to watch AWTR if my mom is home because then I can't control my brothers whereabouts (aka get him away from the TV LOL) so I can't watch until Monday. He'll probably be occupied anyways. He's getting a hamster tomorrow.

As for my life... I got in a really big fight with my father last night and tomorrow is fathers day and hes going to michigan for some stupid nascar race. SIGH!

I have to go now to check NS' website.
Katie :)

[> [> [> Helloooo Katie! Well, inside. lol -- Claire, 09:48:06 06/15/03 Sun

First, the garage sale. Yeah it was pretty fun, my best friend who lives just a house away from me was running a face painting thingy which was pretty successful I guess (too bad she adapted it from *our* face painting idea last summer...as in my sis, cousin and I...no, kidding, I really don't mind, lol) and they had free cookies and lemonade and free BREAD!! haha. It was from this Italian bakery type place and it was like a promotional thing for this new community service that opened in town recently. So anyway, my point is, I spent a lot of time hanging out at her house, when I wasn't helping out at mine. I also made $15, yippee skippee!
And then, last night we went camping. I had this really wacked up dream about either Tia or Tamera from "Sister, Sister" (not sure which one it was, lol) being pregnant. DON'T ASK... it weirded me out too. I know the reason it involved one of those girls is cuz my sister watches that show all the time. It's like one of her favorites. Anyway, then we got McDonald's for breakfast this morning and came home to eat, but we're going back out in a little while so we can go swimming. The people who live near our campground have a pretty big pool that's heated and everything so it should be fun.
And as for my 50th time watching AWTR, I'm not sure when exactly it will be, but I'll let you know! =) By the way, is "sappy" a good thing or a bad thing? Cuz last night camping I was reading my YM magazine and there was an article on bad boys and why girls like them, and one section was about how some guys may have a whole sensitive side to them. One sentence said that some girl's boyfriend "actually admitted to her that he liked that sappy movie A Walk to Remember". It sounded bad to me, so I ripped it out, crumpled it up and threw it in the campfire. lol. But I'm just wondering what your opinion is on that.
As for you and your dad, I hope you patch things up with him, especially since it's Father's Day. Getting in fights with parents is always hard. I know cuz I definitely have arguments with mine sometimes. Oh, and ONE more thing before I finally shut up... that same YM magazine that I was just talking about had a modeling section thingy, and one of the models (they were all just regular girls, not pro models or anything) was Katie S.! Hehe. I was like, "Cool!" Anyway, I'll stop now.

[> [> [> [> Hey inside :) -- KatieS, 16:54:43 06/15/03 Sun

Hey I'm glad you had fun at your garage sale thingy. A few years ago my friends and I started having carnivals in my back yard and it was so fun... we did face painting then and we made lotsa money (some of it donated to charity at the end). Also glad you had fun camping etc. It sounds like you had a great weekend!

Believe me, your dream is normal for me, ROTFL. I had a dream that my pregnant teacher went into labor and her and her husband were having car trouble so I fixed their car so they could get to the hospital. It was really really REALLY weird!

"Sappy" is not a bad thing unless you're a guy. Guys use sappy to refer to movies and things about love and relationships, things that make us girls cry and go "awww!". And I don't think that there is anything wrong with sappy but alot of guys do. I dunno. Guys are idiots, LOL.

See ya later
Katie :)
PS: I look NOTHING like a model you should see the pile of frizz on my head.

[> [> [> [> Hehehe -- Claire, 17:47:36 06/15/03 Sun

I have dreams about pregnant people a lot, it seems. Sometime during the school year I had a dream that my best friend was pregnant. Her...pregnant at 13...I don't even want to begin to imagine what her parents would do to her if they found out that she was. *shudder* I mean they're nice people and great parents but they have high expectations for her, like really good grades and a really good college and everything, so if something like that would happen, saying they'd freak out might be quite the understatement. But yeah, anyway, the dream was weird.
As for the "sappy" thing...you're probably right. I just overreacted I guess, but it seemed like the author was referring to the movie as sappy, and she was a female, so it sounded like it meant gushy or lame or whatever rather than emotional or sentimental or something. But I dunno. Whenever I come across a bad opinion of a favorite thing such as that I think of the millions of other people (esp. you) who like it, too. My parents have both even said that they like the movie. Basically, it's the best movie ever made, so what's to worry about, right? =) hehe.
As for the model thing, trust me, a lot of the girls featured in the magazine as models didn't look too much like them either! lol. That Katie S. girl didn't really. It was supposed to be "real girls with real bodies" so basically they just plucked girls out of school. lol. I dunno. And don't worry about your hair, judging from what an awesome person you are, I'd say that's a very unimportant quality. Maybe that sounds lame, but I'm honest. =)

[> [> [> [> [> Claire, you are so sweet!!! -- KatieS, 08:53:24 06/16/03 Mon

I dream about pregnant people alot too hey thats so weird and funny!! LOL! One time I even dreamed that *I* was pregnant, and in school too, and man if that really happened my mom would totally go off. My parents are like psycho with their expectations for me, I swear, I can't bring home a B. I also dream about school/teachers alot, I have no clue why (maybe it's cuz I love school and my teachers a ton and spend alot of time there?) but that's like been half of my dreams this year.

Hey... I know my sister, my mom, and my dad all loved AWTR. But my cousin, she won't stop telling me about how it's "dumb" so every time she does that I swear I just about smack her LOL. I think she's tired of my obsessions ;)

Oh my gosh you are so sweet!!!! Thank you!!! I feel so special and loved. LOL! You know that has got to be one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. :):):):)

[> [> [> [> [> [> Inside... lol -- Claire, 19:56:37 06/20/03 Fri

Yes, the pregnant thing definitely happens in a lot of my dreams. Last night I had another dream about the Sister, Sister people...I was in my bathroom with one of the twins and I was putting on this dark, maroon type really glossy lipstick and some really sparkly silver eyeshadow, getting all dressed up for something, and she was just standing there sort of behind me. My sister watches that show every single night so like I said before that explains why they turn up in my dreams so much. I know why my dream was the way it was...an episode we were watching last night was almost just like it; one of the twins was in front of her mirror putting on dark lipstick getting ready for her job and the other one was behind her, talking to her or something. Interesting...
Yeah, my family likes AWTR too. Even my youngest sister, who is 3. hehe. She has announced to people before that she has "the A Walk to Renember movie" (she pronounces it like that, it wasn't a typo, lol), and she says she likes Landon a lot. Oh, and she sings to "Only Hope" and "Cry". It's so cute lol.
And you're very welcome about what I said. =)

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Gosh, claire, where do you think the message is? -- KatieS LOL, 21:16:57 06/20/03 Fri

LOL last night I had this really weird dream about my first and second grade teacher... she was subbing in my 8th grade science class... LOL. I swear I have had the weirdest school dreams and half of them people were pregnant, too, Like out of eighteen dreams, there were pregnant people in at least six of them (I have a dream journal on my computer).

LOL thats funny about your sister. How many siblings do you have? I just have one, he's eight and he couldn't care less. But last summer we took a vacation to Florida (yay!) and we stayed with my aunt and uncle and their two kids (Alex, 8 and Keith, 11) in their mansion (I am totally not kidding you can get LOST!) and me, my mom, and Alex watched AWTR and alex loved it, when we were at blockbuster mandy moore's "Cry" music vid was on the TV and she came and got me and said "thats the song from your movie!" And then we both had "Only Hope" stuck on our minds all week and we would laugh about it. It was funny. Man, now I miss this kid, LOL. She's like a magnet to metal when we're with them, I swear, she loves me. LOL.

Hey my brother's hamster (first make sure you aren't eating) just had babies yesterday. The problem is: there aren't any babies now. It... uh... chugged the babies. Or to put it more delicately "engaged in protective canabalism".
See ya later.
Katie

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> I know! The message is after you click on that underlined thingy! YAY I WIN!!! lol :p -- Claire, 19:50:00 06/21/03 Sat

That's funny, last night I had a dream about school too. lol. I dreamt that it was the first day of 8th grade but there was only one teacher, and my class was in a classroom in my old elementary school. The teacher was a guy who was probably in his 40s and he had long hair in a ponytail, but then he didn't. lol. You know how things change in dreams but you don't really think anything of it. Anyway, he was talking to the class and after a little bit I was looking around and I realized I totally wasn't prepared for school - I had no new school supplies, no new clothes for school, and I didn't have any makeup on (lol, not that makeup is all that important, but I guess in my subconsious mind I wanted to look really good for the first day) or anything like that. It was weird. Then after I woke up, thinking of my dream made me start thinking about how thankful I am that it's summer. lol.
As for my sibs, I have two sisters, both younger. One is 3 as I told you already and the other is 11. That's funny about Alex, cuz there's this girl Kylie who lives across the street from me and whom I also baby-sit sometimes (along with her younger brother), and I think she's about 9, and she was over at my house playing with my youngest sister and they were in my room cuz I was putting makeup on them, and she noticed my AWTR screensaver and she's like "Oh, I love that movie!" I was like, "Cool!" lol. Then we were talking about it and I told her that I watched it a lot and she's like, "Yeah, me too." Hehe! It's cool sharing an obsession with a younger kid. =D I showed her the AWTR poster on my door and everything and she thought it was all pretty cool. lol. She's sweet.
About the hamster thing, that is pretty gross. I wasn't eating when I read it, I am going to be eating dinner pretty soon but luckily it wasn't something too incredibly disgusting that would make me lose my appetite. lol. That happened to my best friend once, too, when she was like... 6, 7, or 8 or something. I can't remember. But she's told me the story a few times. lol.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Why do we need a subject line anyways? -- KatieS, 21:12:19 06/22/03 Sun

LOL about your dream, that's funny. Once in sixth grade I dreamed I was at my old school in the bathroom and I ran out in the hall and realized I wasn't wearing a shirt. LOL!

Man you're lucky you have sisters. I have one monster, he's 8. Today he threw a temper tantrum at a crowded rest area and made me chase him and pull him and drag him to the car and embarassed the crap out of me. I was gonna kill him.

I'm glad you weren't eating. I didn't eat lunch after that happened. I was too disgusted. you wouldve been too if you'd seen it, it was horrible.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> I agree...you never know what to put for the subject. -- Claire, 12:42:04 06/25/03 Wed

I have dreams like that all the time. Like once, probably sometime late in the school year (7th grade), I had a dream that I was at school, only I think I was in my 5th grade classroom, and I realized I had nothing on but a T-shirt and no underwear or anything, the the T-shirt barely came down to my waist! I was panicking, but nobody seemed to notice.

Ha! About the temper tantrum, believe me, I hear ya!! My youngest sister will decide to start whining her head off in the middle of Wal-Mart or something, and then start crying, and then lie in the middle of the toy aisle mad because she can't have a certain Barbie. It's awful. Believe me, I know exactly what you mean.

By the way, do you have AIM or Yahoo?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> I never know what to put here either. -- KatieS, 21:46:49 06/25/03 Wed

WOW I know! Okay here is what happened at the rest area: I went in to the bathroom. There was a line for the girls and not the boys, so I got in before my mom and came out about the same time as my brother. But mom still had not gone in when I came out. So she told me to take my little brother and head back to the car. I told him to come with me but he stood stubbornly in the corner. I tried to tell my mom but she told me if he won't come I'll just have to wait with him and I said "I am NOT waiting!" so I grabbed his arm and tried to pull him but I knew if he was determined I'd never get him to the car. I started yelling and telling him mom says he has to come. So he ran off. The wrong way. I chased him until he got to the car or near it and then I grabbed his wrist and tried to drag him, he fought with me the whole way and yelled and screamed. I said do you want to be kidnapped like all those children, like elizabeth smart and he just yelled and screamed and so forth. I finally got him in the car (after pounding on the window for my reading "sister" to unlock the door) and then he was all huffy and stuff, even when my mom came and yelled at him. Man everyone was staring at us it was sooo embarassing. And don't even get me started on what happens when he is told he cannot do or have something... even in public. Man he throws major fits.
Oh, and you should hear my mom burst into song in a supermarket. I swear I ran into this cute boy I like at the store a few months ago and she was like making weird faces and going "who's that? who's that?" and making me tell her over and over because she "couldnt hear me" that I thought I looked horrible... it was awful.

BTW did I tell you the old hamster died? He got a new one tonight.

Yes I have AOL I don't have yahoo. I don't get on my aol much but they are as follows:

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Yup yup. Neither do I. So I'll just put that. -- Claire, 10:31:51 06/30/03 Mon

Aaahh!! I know how that is. Trust me. It's one of the most embarrassing things ever. And it's even worse with more than one kid. Last night I was supposed to be babysitting 2 kids who live down the street from me, and that would have been fine except three more neighborhood kids came to their house. The oldest of all these kids was 9. *shudder* They're all good kids but they simply don't mix well. So anyway, the girl whom I was originally supposed to baby-sit along with her little brother had an idea that we could go to the park. Her brother had been playing with this kid who lives down the street from them, Kylie's little brother (you know, Kylie the AWTR fan who's 9, hehe). So he wanted to invite him. (Ok, I'm gonna use names from now on so it's less confusing.) Solana (the girl who wanted to go to the park, she's 8) didn't want Kylie's brother (Taran, he's 7) to go because she said he was mean. So I'm like, "Don't worry, I'll make sure he's not mean to you." So Taran ends up coming and Dante (Solana's brother, who's 4), he, Solana and I walk to the park. Dante and Taran are way ahead of us most of the way but finally we catch up with them (the park is only a few blocks away luckily). When we're there, the fun starts. (Heh) We find that there are 100+ Mexicans there for some party thing, so that's bad enough because it's so crowded. Then Kylie shows up, and after about 10 minutes I'm like, "Maybe we should leave. It's really crowded here." But Solana's like, "Why? We just got here." Then Kylie falls and gets hurt, and she starts crying all loud, and all the Mexicans around that area of the playground are just staring at us. I'm like "Have you people never seen a girl cry before? You can resume what you were doing now, thank you!!" So I take Kylie over to a bench and I tell her I'll be right back while I go find Solana, Dante, and Taran to tell them we're LEAVING NOW because someone got hurt and it's too crowded so no reason to stay. I find them and just as I do, Tyler, Neighborhood Kid #5, shows up. They're like, "Hey, Tyler!" And I'm trying to tell them all that we should leave because Kylie got hurt. After a minute, Solana just goes and sits on this bench and she, Dante and Taran start talking to Tyler or whatever so I just go back with Kylie until Solana and her brother come our way. I try to tell them again but she practically ignores me!! Brat. So finally I tell them we're going and they say they're ready, so Solana just starts walking through the parking lot towards the sidewalk, and Taran and Tyler keep playing cuz he's like, "Tell my mom we're staying here for a few more minutes!" So I'm like whatever, she'll figure it out, I'm not supposed to be watching you anyway. Then as Kylie's just waiting for us in the grass (she was the only one being good), Dante is complaining of rocks in his shoes, so he stops to empty them all out, and we're just standing near this table of Mexican teenage guys who kept looking at us, so it was like a "come ON"-while-gritting-your-teeth thing. Except I just kept saying, "K, you ready? C'mon, Dante, let's go." I was trying to be patient. Finally he gets on his little bike and rides off by Taran and Tyler, and Kylie walks by me. Solana is way up the sidewalk ahead of us by the time we get there. Then as she's turning back onto our street, Tyler, Taran and Dante turn down the block before it, and they start running with Dante riding down to this one house's driveway almost at the end of it (it's a dead end street luckily). Don't ask me why they went there, but I'm yelling for them to come back and finally they do. When we get back to Solana and Dante's house it's all hectic because I'm making everyone burritos (they're the frozen microwavable kind lol) and everyone wants to do something different. But it was more under control here, thank God. Then out in the backyard playing tag Solana and Kylie get into an argument and Kylie storms off, and then she comes back wanting to make up with Solana but I don't think they ever talked. She's out in the front yard while Solana is in the house watching TV, and Dante is in the backyard with Taran and Tyler, and then Taran rides off on her bike so she throws a hissyfit and runs after him. Tyler's down there too so now it's back to the 2 basic kids. WHEW. Solana starts acting sweet now and eventually their mom comes and it's all good. WHEW. I guess that looooooong message there makes up for me not having been on here in a little while. lol
About the hamster, I wish your brother good luck with his new one. =)
As for AOL, whenever you're on, my sn is clarabelle2312. Creative, I know. It's a nickname my best friend made up for me, and after sitting for about 10 minutes or so trying to think of a name, this is the result. hehe.
