 Got to, in a lot of cases , agree with Johnny B here..missed the acoustic set at the cobblestone but caught the pre vibe...Southbound band utterly brilliant..singer also great..different but them a whole night of Philos sing-a-likes also gets a bit tedious..the guy who played Borderline (forget his name) was also great..left before Eric Bell...Trouble boys band murdered boys are back..the main Vibe..agree with comments..quality of acts at the start (apart from the Guinness swilling yanks who was bloody great on the guitar..!) was poor...poor leanne hart...pick easier numbers to do love..Still in love...sorry but murdered..!!!....mixture of different acts..thats great and hats off to Smiley..at least not four versions of Emerald this year...but what about bands that play...angel from the coast / fools gold / soldier of fortune etc....still only getting very early stuff or the classics..!!!...don't know..that was my 8th vibe and wonder how many more are in Smiley...think now the week-end is great to meet other vibe goers..and chat but to a large extent wonder if a lot of the gig is just not up to it...Parris..great but seen them..at least no Thin as lizzy..shame about Grand slam only three numbers..yes guess we can all have something to say...Smiley still keeps it going...will not be back next year but will probably look at 20th anniversary as my ultimate last..perhaps Smiley could ask the fans who they would like to see from the previous vibes..Wast the Olympia too LIMEHOUSE were fantastic..!!!!
