There are two important points.
1- Jesus and God are different... clear your mind and listen to this THEORY
God is God... Jesus is Jesus...
God is ONE... God is the one we worship
Jesus like Moses, Abraham etc was a Prophet
Jesus was sent by GOD as a prophet to the Jewish people
2- Jesus referred to God as Father, because at the time thats what everyone refered to God.
NOW is this not making more sence... isnt this less confusing... isnt this more logical.
Jesus was a Human, was born from a mother, eats works sleeps like humans... he has miracles just like all prophets.
Jesus was a Messenger FROM God.
IS GOD NOT ONE.
IN Mathew 21:11 And the crowds said, This is the prophet Jesus of Nazareth of Galilee.
In Mark, 6:4, it is stated that Jesus referred to himself as a prophet: And Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
In the following verses, Jesus is referred to as having been sent as a messenger is sent.
In Matthew 10:40, Jesus was purported to have said: He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
In John 17:3, Jesus is also quoted as saying: ;And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
There are many contridictions in the Bible that really confuse me on Jesus.
I believe in Christianity, but Today there are many things that confuse me and many christians, the main one being that "jesus is God" I thought Christianity is a Monothetic relgion.
