Yes Darsita, it's true.
Hebrews is the first place that comes to mind where you can find it plainly stated.
Hebr:1:8: But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Hebr:1:9: Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Hebr:1:10: And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
The person speaking here is God the Father, and when speaking to Jesus Christ, God the Father calls him by the title "God," saying "Thy throne, O God, is for ever..."
All you need to do for yourself is confirm that God the Father is the speaker, and then there is no denial that the speaker is calling Jesus Christ "God."
If it confuses you to how there can be two "Gods," think of how many people have been called a "god," with a lower "g."
John:10:34: Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
John:10:35: If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
1Cor:8:5: For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
Please email me if you want to continue studying this. I'm running out of time and space, currently. Thanks for contributing!
