Subject: the value of online publishing
In reply to: Redeye 's message, "Since nobody's posted in the last month..." on Fri 2003-07-11 14:33:56

I lost the link, having changed web computers... and only on yer separation of church/state chat on du, did i recover it... yes still about. Glad you're still kicking.... i've seriously been wondering about the value of online publishing... certainly its gratifying to publish 2 seconds after writing a peice, without publishers and such... but if i took all the impetus i've put in to online writing over the past year, i'd have 2 novels to my name.... and what is a better vehicle for the transcendental change i've been hoping would affect the world...

Certainly there's the issue of making sure that the public common incorporates my view "also", but on seeing my views published (as in reality, i would rubber stamp in to a very liberal position on all issues....) what is the point?

Are you familiar with representational mathematics for domains of knowledge? Let x = all knowledge about christianity. Let y = all knowledge about buddhism... what is x intersection y. All i seem to encounter is set theory... and that is not it. realizing the question to be obscure... but i have a feeling you might be able to point a direction on ontological mathematic representation.

regards,
-s
