Date Posted: 17:20:32 02/13/03 Thu I went into the barn and loaded up High Altitude one of my new horses. Then I got in the truck and drove down to Saddle’s house. When I got there I unloaded Altitude and got the mare ready. I noticed that Kelsey was no where to be found. I gave Kelsey 10 more minutes to show up then I got impatient and got on Altitude myself and started to warm up the mare. She was a beautiful mover with nice smooth gaits. Her trot was easy to post to and her canter was even more amazing. I sat to it with ease. Then I saw some easy cavalletti that were about 18” high. I trotted her up to them and she went easily over them. Just then I heard someone say, “Hey Shay.” I turned Altitude around and saw Saddle sitting on the fence. “Hey Saddle!” “Where’s Kelsey?” “I have no clue,” I replied, “I got here and she wasn’t here.” “WHAT SHE HAS NEVER MISSED A LESSON!” “I know. I tacked up Altitude and waited about 10 minutes for Kelsey then I gave up and came out here to warm her up while I waited for Kelsey to show up.” “I don’t know where she is so you might as well keep Altitude moving till Kelsey shows up.” “Yeah I think I will.” “I am so sorry about this Shay.” Just then a car came up the driveway and Kelsey hopped out.
