I believe that there is an interesting relationship between a performer and an audiance particually in our American culture. I beleive that we judge a performance most of the time by how it entertained us. A performance to me should be judged much deeper by how effective it was in occomplishing it's thoughts, feelings, and goals. The roles that should be looked at is that of the audiance. FOr example, what motive did they have for coming to a performance and usually that can show if the audience will approve the performance for entertainmnet value or for much deeper and meaningful reasons.
