When attending a concert there are many things that make a performance real. Sure the music is of great importance in insuring that a concert and its performance is good. Also, I believe as most of you who have responded to this discussion do, that the interaction between the performer and viewer is of great consideration. The viewer must feel as if he is a part of the performance for it to be a real experience. But not only do I think there is great importance between the performer and the viewer, but also between the viewers. When at a show I tend to have a better time, and find myself actually dancing more when those around me are doing the same. If a song is preformed at a show and someone around you does not like it, and better yet talks shit about it, the whole mood of that song is lost by the negativity. So to me, for a good show to occur, there must be interactions not only between the performer and the one viewing it, but also between the audience that is viewing the performance.
