Thanks for your post, and my apologies for taking so long to answer.

I spent a great deal of time mulling over the decision to remove the lessons from Erin's Web Gaelic. At this point, it's a finance issue in that the site is generating so many hits, it was exceeding its webhosting allowances. My former webhost dinged me for a substantial hit to my bank account for the "excessive traffic" and I don't want that to happen with the new one. Truth be told, I just can't afford the extra expense at this time. Erin's Web doesn't generate any revenue, so everything has been out of pocket for me since it's inception in 1999. It really started out as a 5-page personal website about Ireland and bloomed into a little monster!

I have considered converting the lessons over to PDF format. I have to take into consideration the file size and how much time it will take as well, so that could present new challenges all in their own! So there are many things to consider. I had to make a quick decision and the best one at the time was to just remove the lessons.

After I do some testing, as well as a possible redesign of Erin's Web, I will make a final decision regarding the posting of the lessons. Being the one-person crew I am, trying to keep up with everything, on top of my (more than) full time regular job, my soap website/business and my web design business, the decision and/or final product may take a while.

Thanks again for your post. I apologize for any inconvenience my decision causes anyone. It certainly wasn't my intention. :)
