Prior to taking the exams: I am really not sure how I feel about IQ tests. While I have taken them before and have been graded well I wonder how accurate they are and what the possible pitfalls might be. As someone who's mother was a school teacher for over forty years I have seen how such tests can be missused to put people in classes they otherwise should be in. I believe that there are too many questions that can not be answered with such tests.

Post: After taking the IQ test and coming up about where I had previoulsy I don't feel any better about the exams. I think they might have their uses, but as a standard for discerning a persons level of intelligence or even world knowledge I find the tests lacking. They may well be accurate, but my concern surrounding these tests are more about application rather than accuracy.
