An IQ test to me is a test that can be used to measure an individual's intelligence. I never took one before this class. I have heard of IQ test being given to gifted children or children that suppose to be smarter than the average child.

I can see how the classical IQ test can be a measurement of your intelligence. Upon taking this test, I found myself struggling in the same areas I always have problems in when I take the average ACT or SAT test. I scored better than I thought I would. I always assumed IQ test were for gifted or extremely smart individuals. I didn't know that there were different kinds of IQ test.

The culture-fair was weird to me. I don't understand how you can determine a person's intelligence by testing them on patterns. I guess it's more of an analysis test. You have to analyze the patterns carefully to come up with the correct answer. It was not my favorite test of the three.

The emotional test reminded me of the questionnaires they give you at the end of your job applications now. It's basically a test to see what kind of person you are. The emotional test was the easiest test of all of them because it was about you. I can see individuals lying about their emotions to receive great results.

In conclusion, I think the classical IQ test is the best overall IQ test used to measure intelligence. I think they should include a few questions from the emotional IQ test to the classical test. I don't agree with it being timed. I've never been good at taking timed test, I find myself rushing to make sure I answer all the questions before the time runs out. I would probably do better if I could take my time and make sure my answers are correct.
