I realize all these posts were addressed to Carla, the twins' mother, but I thought I'd thank you for your well wishes, Tess, Marsha and Erika. The babies are doing very well and are healthy. I didn't realize we were part of the epidemic, but am so happy that we are. lol Carla's also doing very well, but is very busy with them as you can imagine. I'm still on tour, this is my last week, so she's been home taking care of Eryx and Jade by herself. She has a helper, a nanny, Karen, who's a godsend and really works hard to be there for the kids, especially since Carla's schedule hasn't stopped just because she's had children. As the boss of her own Design firm, Affluence, she's the one person in the company who doesn't get much time off, even when it's so she can give birth. :) But, she's a trooper and I'm really proud of her. She's a very good mother and our kids are lucky to have her in their lives. I for one can't wait to see my babies again. But, the last I saw them they were red faced, screaming mad at being forced into the world and out of their mama's warm, cozy body, hungry and had all their fingers and toes.
How do you like the names? I was hoping for Wolf, jr. but was vetoed (tee-hee, I knew it would be, but you can't blame a bruthah for dreaming can you?), so we settled on Eryx for our son and Jade for our daughter. I immediately fell in love with Carla's suggestion for our daughter's name, because one of my sister's daughter's name is Jayde, but with a y in the middle. So, I thought taht would be pretty awesome for it to kind of be like a family sort of name. Of course, she's about 24 by now, the cousin that is, not our baby. lol
Anyway, thanks alot ladies, and I'm sure when Carla gets a free moment she'll also thank you, but you can imagine how busy she is breastfeeding two babies and without my hands to help out, we just have to cut her a break for now. :)
