The rain was driving down hard now, I was wet and confused and should have been miles away hours ago.
I stumbled to my feet and stretched tentatively, looking up and down the alleyway I made my way back to the main street. I could hear shouts and sirens bouncing across the buildings but I couldn't see anything unusual until I turned the corner...
