I would like to thank all my classmates who turned up for the wake and the wishes from others who were not able to make it due to their work or been too far away.
My mother came from China about 85 years ago and married an illiterate carpenter and produced 8 children and many grand and great grandchildren. She passed away peacefully due to old age at 97 years old. In Chinese, she was 100 years old (plus 3 for ‘heaven’, ‘earth’ and ‘life’ on earth – not sure on this, maybe some experts can tell me). So I am very proud and fortunate of her long life (hope I have her and my father’s gene – father passed away at 94) and we are considered very fortunate because of her long life – but I am already starting to get all kind of aches over my body – especially the cervical spondyliosis, etc). So I am hoping I can live a little longer and have many get-togethers with you all!
She was buried beside my father at Fairy Park in Klang at 12.30 pm today,
