Hi Ray,

I totally agree with you that the Durians from Penang are the best around! I hope when you arrive, it would co-incide with the peak season of some of the clones that are available.

I know of a stall in Klang and one in Subang Jaya that sell the variety that I love most. They are better than the ones we tasted before with Bin Laden and Inspector Kluso (I think) in my place.

Below are some more clones from Penang, some of which I have yet to taste.

Yes, older trees bear fruits with a more wrinkled texture, are sweeter and have a more matured feel like the first sample below ... mouth watering, yummy yum again!!
