 I agree. Stick to you guns and DEFINE your boundaries.
Spencer is only thinking about himself, not your little one. It's safer to keep Spencer away from your son if he is not right. My kids told me that this is what was confusing was seeing their father good one day and then crazy the next which is why I had him leave. Their lives needed stability and their dad did not have any which messes things up. Be your son's protector when it comes to that.
