To me tough love was not allowing my son around my other kids whan he was high! I am by no means an expert @ this I still cry and have so much anxiety over my son and the choices he made I just won't allow anyone to see it becauseI no longer will allow this drug to run my life but when it comes to my son I still worry hope and pray he makes the right choices and if he decides to do drugs again I asked him to move away and send a post card once and awhile to let us know he is alive because I can't put my family through this any longer. My idea of tough love is to do what you can live with when you look in the mirror in the morning ! So do what is right for you
