Thanks. I hope your son gets out in October and does well. It will certainly help that he has a mom who cares so much about him and is strong enough to be tough when he can't be. I believe that tough love shows them just how much we love them and gains their respect when they finally realize it.
My favorite quote that I keep throwing out at TR is "Even if your are on the right track you'll get run over if you just sit there!" Recovery is one day and one step at a time, but you have to keep moving forward. Not using is wonderful but it is not enough. Susan, it sounds like your son is on the right track, as is mine. We'll continue to pray that they keep moving in the right direction. Peace.
