You can see here where the enemy will try to rip off your peace and take you down. I think you can file a TRO because Spencer has a violent and drug past on paper. Most judges would not stop an order if you list meth use on paper but be sure you put these things down. If you get the order and Spencer violates and you call the cops every time he calls or comes around, they will lock him up.
He is just being selfish and trying to manipulate everyone and sounds like he's still using. It sounds like his mom has no clue but that has nothing to do with you. My in-laws were extremely angry with me when we went thorugh this but in the end they saw clearly the truth. I remember really wavering on whether I should get a TRO or not and basically got to the point where I had no choice. You know what you have to do. Pray for guidance.
