Why would today be any different to an addict? He can run around looking for dope not caring about you after ripping you off and now YOU are responsible for giving him a place to stay - against your wishes and court orders?
You have to tighten up your boundaries - define them. How can you have an order against him which obviously has a date set yet set today as the day he is to be out. Which day is it? If you don't define AND respect your own boundaries, why should he? You can do it - you're helping him more than you know by doing it. It may not be the nicest thing to do but it is the kindest thing you can do.
Pray that this will be his bottom to make him sick and tired of being sick and tired. If you have to call the cops, you have to call the cops. That's what I eventually had to do with my ex and after the jail time (2wks.), he turned himself in to rehab for 18 months. You have to take care of yourself and your sick daughter - not your sick husband. Get out of the way of his consequences.
