hello-it is hard isn't it. they can not see what they are doing to the people that love them and care about them. i have a 9 yr old son that my husband use to spend time with but not anymore. he pushes him away when he wants to wrestle or play. he is not my son's father but we have been together for over 5 years and my son thinks or did think of him as his dad. you wonder if you should give up or hold on to the hope that things will get better. i have been dealing with this for almost 3 years now and for a while it seems ok but i think i am fooling myself and then it gets bad again. i was so glad that i watched oprah yesterday and heard of this site and know that i am not the only one going through this nightmare. it helps chatting with others in the same position. is there hope or do we just move on. my prayers are with you and your child and hope that you find your answer in prayer. God Bless all of us.
