I went to the dentist this week......(yeah, I did some pretty major damage to my teeth......$6,000.00 worth) I go to the dentist, to have some filling done. Now when I first went I made sure to tell them I was a recovering meth addict, and that it would not be okay to have any kind of stimulants. None at all!!!! So they start shooting up my mouth with novicaine, and OH MY GOD!!! I felt my heart just start racing, I was shaking, sweating, and freaking out. I thought for a second that I was spun. It scared me!! So, I asked them if the novicaine had any ephederine in it. Their answer....no, but it does have some other kind of stimulant in it. WHy do doctors not pay attention? Now I know that I am not the only meth addict in town, and surely they have treated others who are having dental problems because of this drug. How do they overlook something like this. It was not a good experience for me, and I was pissed. So......how do you make sure that the doctors are taking note of the important things. Cause I don't want to go through that ever again.

Can anyone relate??
