Hello. My ex husband was arrested last month for trafficking and he had a pipe on him. According to him, he was doing a favor for a friend by picking the stuff up from the dealer out of town (thus the copious amounts of drugs on him). He did say the pipe was his, but he had it "just in case" he wanted to "try" it again. He claims he was a casual user that only tried it a couple of times. FYI, I do not believe any of this.

Over the last few months he has become sickly thin. The last time I saw him he smelled weird, talked constantly, and was showing me pieces of rocks that he said he got in the desert while he was looking for "Indian artifacts". And he bragged of being awake for three days claiming that soda and a chocolate bar was all he needed to stay awake.

Now, here are my questions...
1 - how can I tell if he is actually an addict?
2 - how does this drug effect his brain?
3 - how long does it stay in his system?
4 - can a standard drug test pick it up if he hasn't used in a couple weeks?
5 - is he a danger to my children?
6 - what else do I need to know about this drug to keep my children safe?
