Actually, I meant to start a new thead when I wrote that "insanity rant"...
But, Misty you must know that your sister and the rest of your family's love is unconditional. No matter what you do, or have done they will always, always love you. There may be times when it has felt that they turned their backs to you, but that was only because they HAD to in order to survive themselves. Please get well. It is so devestating to loose someone you love - even worse when you loose them to drugs. My husband and both of his brothers are dead because of drugs, and a young man that grew up with my niece and nephew that I was very, very, fond of died last month - all from meth.
We can be harsh, angry, even hateful at times towards the addicts we love. We can ban them from our homes, cut them out of our lives, but never, never, erase them from our hearts and prayers.
I will add you and your family to my prayers. I won't wish you good luck, because I don't believe your recovery has anything to do with luck. It all has to do with you. Do this for yourself first and foremost, and in doing for yourself you will be doing it for all of your loved ones as well.
