Ahhh! I never really noticed the MEANING of the Deuteronomy text until like...RIGHT NOW. Those are DEFINATELY words to chew on, which this evening I will do!

Also, I knew about the Apostolic lives, how that they were killed (except John, though that is even contended with)...Foxe's Book of Martyrs also deals with the persecution of the Post Apostolic Age of the Church; and what reading THAT is!

As for MY life, well, it isn't by ANY means Apostolic Persecuted, yet, hehe, I'm bombarded every single day! lol Though it's all good, 'cause BEFORE THE LORD I would rather HAVE people hate me than love me all the time! My own mom and I are at odds over the Tronoto Blessing/WOF as her church, largest Charismatic one in my city, is into that garbage...opps...EVERY SINGLE PENTECOSTAL/CHARISMTIC Church in my city is into some form of junk (Alpha; Purpose, etc etc)... so yeah, me (a conservative Pentecostal) and them "don't get along....but at least the lost are being reached! Amen!

Now, the "Name it and Claim it/WOF" Movement DOES like the pre trib rapture.... I WAS WOF and we taught all of that! (Though we must also make room for some Fundamentalist Baptists as they also hold this view...not all, but the majority)

You made an interesting point from the Scriptures, that we don't go THROUGH His wrath but will be saved IN it.... never saw it as such, and that is something I will look at also.

You see, and this from a former WOF proponent, most who believe in these doctrines are AFRAID to change them because they were taught that the doctrines held to are TOTALLY of God and that TO change is to BACKSLIDE almost; I'm not exaggerating....

Many pre trib people believe that those who HEARD the Gospel before the rapture will NOT have a second chance AFTER the rapture..... so if they let the pre trib doctrine go then they might be lost eternally.... this doctrine is held by MOST, and again, Hagee is the main propagator, and most have swallowed it.

So, when dealing with pre tribbers, always keep in mind that if they get defensive it's 'cause they are, deep deep down, scared of "losing God".... and who wants to lose Jesus?

I, however, am far past the stage where I believe any of that anylonger; my Faith is not in Copeland or any of that croud, but in Jesus Christ.....

Can't wait for the prophecy teaching (hint hint)
