SwItCh let out another cry of anguish as the femme's jaws tore at his stomach. But Brechin's jaws met hers once again before too much damage was inflicted. Then the ravens came. The Balkar looked up as they came, pelting down from the sky. The others watched, turning their heads to and fro, wondering what was going on.
But Brechin knew. Through his panting, a growl escaped his throat. What took you so long, Graz? he thought. But he sighed in relief and almost smiled.

Drekka growled. "What in the name of Wolfbane is going on?" she wondered out loud.
Her guardians are attacking her... says Frarrow.
"Silence or I shall feed you to the Searchers," snaps teh Drappa. She knew that was not the whole story...
