Leaving Letha to the mercy of the 'monster' was both a hollow and impossible choice, for the beast held no mercy, especially for Letha. Dazzling thoughts of red painted the chaotic mind while somewhere, deep in slumbering shadows, a 'pup' struggled with the blaze of horrid memories and the brilliant rays of the sun. Letha was trapped within her own personal Hell, tortured by the past and set afire by the sun.
Manical laughter errupted from the female brute as Brechin slammed into her with unnessicary[sp?] force to the snowy ground. Fangs slashed at the eyes, tore at the ears, and snapped at the nose. It was obvious she wasn't trying to stay standing as she flashed a toothy grin, pressed down upon by the male.
"My, my, Brechin. I never would have guessed your ability to make things worse on her..."
There was another laugh as she left her words to be wondered, rolling out from under the silver canine to free herself of his pin. Rising eaily to her ebon paws, the killer eyed him with a curious delight. The ledge had been well noted from the start of the battle, though it was not a worry to the psychotic Varg. Golden windows shifted upon the matter of concern a delibrate moment, then back to Brechin with a daring look. Licking her chops, more words were sent towards the rival.
"What do you suppose a fall like that would do to Letha?"
It was hard to decipher the purpose of the question. It could easily be a reminder to Brechin that though she wasn't Letha, it was Letha's body, and killing it would kill both sides of the coin. Then again, it could also be taken at a threat to Letha. Hard to say with a mindset like that of the Darkness.
