Deans legacy of tripling state spending on medicare over his time in office and actually having the percentage of uninsured go up rather than down should say something about universal healthcare. Solid analysis of Dr. Dean and the healthcare crisis can be found on the ethan allen institiute website among many others. This is just one more example of the failure that is common among socialistic policies. Unfortunately, most people are unaware of the poor results and just how much these plans actually ost the taxpayer. While good intentions are admirable, sometimes the policies that will actually deliver results take more than good intentions, they take integrity, intelligence and courage and conviction to implement not to mention a lot of hard work. Hard work rather than quick fix politically motivated cover up solutions now that's an idea.
