The also had a mickey mouse arrangement with st John's but St John's backed out - not commitment to juniors = no long term plan BTW - the situation with Avondale and higher grades is finished - they will not get there - a commitment was given to Berkeley being a former member of senior grades that they would be given the chance to return given the right conditions - how the hell could you then push Avondale into the comp alongside Dapto, Wests, Port, Berkeley - not enough players - simple as that. The Avondale/Huntley thing would change anything, they are called Avondale now, but have no real ties to that area, they are Dandaloo Pub, simple as that, and anyone who has anything to do with that comp recognises that.
