Hi Quitther

What you've come across is a bit of disinformation meant to convince Christians that the early church employed the Noahide Laws for gentile converts. This is entirely false.
The so called Noahide Laws first appeared hundreds of years later in one of the volumes of the Talmud. In Acts 15 some Jewish Christians were making trouble in the church by saying that gentile converts would have to be circumcised and follow the Mosaic Law. The church elders decided that, as the law had been fulfilled at calvary, circulcision was no longer necessary, nor were all the nit-picky laws of rituals and sacrifices. They surely gave no place at all to the "oral law" or "mishnah" that Jesus condemned as traditions of men that made the law of God of none effect.
They simply stated a few basic rules which were all included in the Mosaic Law, no idols, no fornication, don't eat meat sacrificed to idols, avoid bloodshed etc.
There was no distinction within the church concerning the requirements of lawkeeping for Jews and Gentiles. In Jerusalem where all of the disciples were former Jews, they did tend to hang on to the old traditions. These were called the concision or the circumcision and they caused a lot of trouble in the church. Over time they all backslid and the church moved entirely away from such legalism.

The so called Noahide system of law did not appear for several hundred years after the time of Christ in one of the volumes that comprise the Talmud.

It calls for a 2 track legal system in which Jews are held to respect the Mosaic Law but gentiles are judged by a different set of laws. These laws outlaw Christ. The Noahide system is as far from Christianity as night is from day.
