wrong aspects = cute animals, hot girls, and cool action heroes
wrong people = people who have nothing to do with the title's production/distribution and start selling the merchandise for it

We're discussing intellectual property (IP). Digital copying is just one kind of IP theft. Unauthorized merchandising is another. If you think one is ok but not the other, you're gonna have to explain why.
