Re:Order nos. UBZ/U09-13/0007/04 & DBZ/U09-13/0001/04

We are the owner of 1/F, 40 Haven Street, Hong Kong.

Your letter dated 24th November 2005 has only come to our attention when it was directly sent to our registered business address on or around 28th November 2005. As for the other two attached correspondences both dated 10th June 2005, we hereby declare that we never have any notice of either of them.

With regard to the captioned orders, we would like to put it writing that we, being one of the owners of Nos. 40 & 42 Haven Street, Hong Kong, will not hesitate in bearing part of the responsibility, if any, in complying with the orders.

However, the difficulties lies before us are that firstly, we do not live in this building, (In fact, we bought this flat not long ago and our flat has only been recently rented out since last month), we have never been informed of any meeting of the incoorporated Owners not to mention that we neither know any contact person nor any contact number; secondly, there is no caretaken in the building whom we can try to contact for further enquiry. Under these circumstances, we have no way to proceed in accordance with your orders under the principle of the shared responsibility.

We would highly appreciate it if you would understand our difficult position. Should we be of any assistance to the compliance of the orders, please feel free to contact Warren Lee (Mr.) at 9239 8382.
