 Looking over the group from his high perch in a tree Simon shuddered. These groups were all over, tearing the forest down to use as their own land. Simon pulled his pet mouse, Gus, from the small pouch in his backpack. He held the small mouse out so he could see the group.

"What do you think Gus? Think they're gonna be a handfull?"

Gus sniffed the air for a bit, letting out his little chattering noise. Simon placed the mouse back in his pack.

"I dont think so either. Im sure the traps I've set around here will stop a few of them."

Simon had previously rigged the area with four trip wires. The wires were connected to a mechanism used for shooting darts. These particular darts had enough juice in them to knock out an average person for at least 10 minutes, long enough for a distraction. Simon leaned against the main branch of the tree, keeping a close eye on the group.
