The mist swirled around the feet of a massive statuesque dragon created from a strange metal. The rain splashed and rolled off of the smooth surface - pooling below. The cold metalic guardian seemed lifeless as it stood there, waiting for something, anything. All that can be told is that this thing was recently depositied there. The circular burn in the ground around it said that much.

Back at Star Cross Labs -

Dr. Faust scanned through the data that was still being uploaded to his computer. All he knew right now was that something had interfered with the portal which was supposed to advance the cyborg one year back from the original drop point. It was a new expirement which the engineers figured out. All they had to do was move Bro'Grim from Bosnia, 1996 to the year 1995. Most tests like these were done during times of war or extreme conflict. If anything was discovered or reported, like the infamous Foo Fighters during the second world war, it would be passed off as a weapon of the "other side" or some such nonsense. It was supposed to be simple mathematics. The same algorythms which are used to move between time and space.

That's when a string of numbers came scrolling up the screen.

"There was another displacement vortex! Someone else out there has discovered the Pathegorean Bridge!"
