When Haaden reached the chute she took off her pack and began to rumage through it. Finally she pulled out a coil of rope. With a smirk she said "Just to be safe." She then walked over to a stalagmite and began securing the rope. Once that was done she glanced down the chute. It was about 3 1/2 feet wide and almost imposible to see down more that a few feet. The chute was on a shallow incline. Crouching down Haaden reached down the hole and felt the walls, they were smooth and slick. Rising back to her feet she said "I don't think there will be any hand or foot holds. We /should/ be able to slide all the way down. I We'd better tie the rope around our waists and go one at a time." With that she tied the rope around her waist and lowered herself into the chute and disappeared into the blackness. -- The Clearing

Halden walked up to sap and stood by him for a good while. after what seemed like a long time he strode over to the stalagmite and tied off with his own rope. "if you don't get word from us in ten minutes head out ok, i'll tug the rope several times if we need help." finishing his knot he swung himself down the chute. -- ellendil, 15:27:14 02/13/04 Fri
