I liked the singing and tambourining and stuff, the food, well, I am a terrible cook, think Wendy Craig and Butterflies and you get the picture, and so anything they dished up was far superior to anything I ever produced, stale bread? at least they did not burn it, as I always seem to, but the dancing, well, we weren't really allowed to dance, we had to do the Sister Shuffle, it was like the ritual Handbag Twostep except even more boring. All the other sisters would be watching you like Golden Eagles, in case you accidentally expressed any real Joy in your dancing, boyoboy, if you did you would get such a disciplining that you dared not move a muscle for a month of Sundays!

Oh, those were the days, yes, I remember them well!

The JA do not celebrate the birth of our Saviour, what a shame, because it is something to celebrate, to be sure. They say it is not the right vday, but I say, so what? The Queen celebrates two birthdays, give Jesus one good cheer seeing as He gave His life for all of us lot!
