I think that's essentially what anonymous said also. He wasn't saying that Kechari is the goal, but that "all will naturally achieve Kechari if they just devote their time and efforts to practice of first Kriya and cultivation of character."

This whole question of 'Kechari, or not to Kechari' really seems to push people's buttons here. If someone is helped greatly by doing Kechari, they should absolutely positively do it. Yoganandaji praised it in public and in private- even though he didn't talk about it all the time.

And if you are not drawn to the idea of doing Kechari, well, why get your tongue all twisted up by those who do? Kriya alone, without Kechari, can get you into the bliss state. Why not enjoy that bliss and share it equally with those who do Kechari and those who don't?
